Lately, I noticed my skin becoming duller and more prone to acne. With the start of the school semester, I know that stress and lack of sleep are going to wreck havoc on my face. I decided to make a preemptive strike against bad skin with my weapon of choice: Skinfood Ginseng Mask.
I decided to use the Skinfood Ginseng Mask because the label promised to “rejuvenate dull-looking skin into a more radiant glow, achieve supple skin by stimulating the synthesis of collagen, and also prolong aging of skin.”
I’m all for radiant, supple skin! According to the label, I should “apply an apple amount onto the face. Leave for 5 minutes, and then rinse off with lukewarm water.” I opted to apply a thin layer of the ginseng mask instead since I'm not fond of the odd ginseng smell. When I washed off the mask, the white ginseng powder in the gel gently exfoliated my skin.
The result? I did not notice a dramatic change with regards to my appearance. My skin looks slightly brighter, but I did not see a “radiant glow” as promised. However, my skin instantly feels softer and smoother to the touch. So the Skinfod Ginseng Mask gets an A+ in achieving supple skin!
