Today’s post is slightly off-topic since it's about a famous cartoon show from the 90’s. Here’s a hint: “In the name of the moon, I will punish you!”

It's none other than Sailor Moon!

The iconic magical girl Sailor Moon has graced all sorts of merchandise, from children’s lunch boxes to high-tech gadgets. However, this is the first time that Sailor Moon has appeared on the front cover of Japanese fashion magazine TOKYOViVi:

Thanks to art director Chinatsu Wakatsuki, who happens to be a fan of the series, the magazine features exclusive Sailor Moon artwork. The issue was released on Friday, March 15^th, in honor of creator Naoko Takeuchi’s 46^th birthday. The release also coincided with news of the new Sailor Moon anime, which is scheduled for a simultaneous worldwide release later this year!
