It's none other than Sailor Moon!
"Fighting evil by moonlight, winning love by daylight,
never
running from a real fight, she is the one named Sailor Moon!"
The iconic magical girl Sailor Moon has graced all
sorts of merchandise, from children’s lunch boxes to high-tech gadgets.
However, this is the first time that Sailor Moon has appeared on the front
cover of Japanese fashion magazine TOKYOViVi:
Sailor Moon and Chibi-Moon share the cover with model Lena Fujii
Thanks to art director Chinatsu Wakatsuki, who
happens to be a fan of the series, the magazine features exclusive Sailor
Moon artwork. The issue was released on Friday, March 15th, in honor of creator Naoko Takeuchi’s 46th birthday. The release also
coincided with news of the new Sailor Moon anime, which is scheduled for a simultaneous
worldwide release later this year! You can pick up your own copy of TOKYOViVi at Amazon Japan for ¥680 ($7): link
